Sophia has been creating jewels for over 30 years. From grad school in international relations and later as a US Peace Corps volunteer, she's fascinated with adornment from around the world. 

Along with her travels, Sophia traces her designs to the abundant creativity of the ancients. Be they the icons of Byzantium or the gems of King Louis's Court, Sophia is on a constant quest to learn from the timeless.
