My darling Sophanista's daughter was graduating. Mom wanted to honor her hard work with a ring she would remember for a lifetime. The two of them came in with a fabulous paraiba tourmaline in hand, a gem mom's parents had acquired on their travels some 50 years prior. I suggested we add an element that symbolized her school years- we used a door that was very meaningful to her campus. See the flowers in the frame? It's in the setting's design. We added the prong set diamonds for bling and VOILA, feel beautiful.
